Let's Move Pittsburgh and Giant Eagle organized a Kids Can Cook event at the Heinz History Center sponsored by UPMC Health Plan with the goal of getting kids more involved in cooking. Let’s Move Pittsburgh has created a School Peer Network Listserv which allows school representatives, PTO and PTA organizations, food directors, teachers, nurses and parents in our community share ideas on reducing childhood obesity through healthy eating, increased physical activity, and decreased screen time.
